In this sculpture grass is grown in the table top before installation. It is watered through linen sacks. The run off drips into the tray on the floor that is filled with unfired ceramic dishes and grass seed. As the short lived rye grass in the table top begins to die new grass grows from the deteriorating dishes below. This sculpture was originally displayed in the former dinning room of the Masur Museum in Monroe, LA.
