In 2008 I was invited by Heinz and Gertrud Aeschliman to be an artist in residence at Art St. Urban in Saint Urban, Switzerland. During my two month residency I had access to several well equipped studios and a wide range of materials with which to work. In addition to this I made introductions with Swiss artists, collectors and patrons, toured Swiss industrial plants and learned much about the unique Swiss culture. Working alongside Heinz Aeschliman and Polish artist Agnyeska Stopyra the resulting work represents experiments with the materials and processes introduced to me at St. Urban.
My sincerest thanks to Heinz and Gertrud for this amazing opportunity.
